Sessions on Best Practices is a new speaker series designed to help artists and designers who share an interest in initiating or growing the real-world operation of a project. Hear from a range of founders and self-starters with experience in the arts and cultural sector, social innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as non-profit/co-op spheres.

These hour-long talks are free; a limited number of seats are open to current students, alumni and creative practitioners. There is no need to RSVP.

Operated by Living Labs, the Shumka Centre for Creative Entrepreneurship launched in 2018 to foster the movement of artists and designers into systems and situations where their work and ideas can have the most impact. The Shumka Centre is generously supported by the Vancouver Foundation.
