Inspired by the work of 20th century avant-garde singer Natalie Brettschneider, this crack quartet of Vancouver improvisors explores non-standard ways to play jazz standards. Their repertoire features the work of 20th century female composers and lyricists, including Maria Grever, Irene Higginbotham, and Canadians Ruth Lowe and Florence Fazan. Join them as they get ready to go into the recording studio to make an LP of these great tunes!
